I am a photographer, a registered nurse and a passionate animal lover.  I am originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, a city on the eastern coast of Canada that is soaked in a rich culture of music and art.  Photography and music have been a part of my life for a very long time.  I moved to the northeast of Massachusetts in 1998 for a nursing job and fell in love with the rocky coastline that reminds me of my hometown.  I am happy to still be connected to the sea.  

Education is never a bad idea, right?  In June 2015, I completed a two-year Certificate program in Fine Art Photography at New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH.  In summer of 2017, I took some time away from my job and immersed myself in an amazing 12 week  photography intensive at Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine.  I have learned from and been inspired by some of the best photographers in the country.
